Configuration Changes

There are 2 ways to change the configuration of an indexima cluster:

• change the parameters in the galactica.conf file

Those changes will be applied after a restart of the cluster.

• Apply a SET_ command to dynamically change some parameters. Parameters that can be changed are listed in the "dynamic" column of the galactica.conf page.

Since 2021.3, those changes are persistent. After a restart of the cluster, those changes would be kept in memory. Dynamic changes are stored on a galactica_ext.conf file located at the root of the warehouse folder
